These iPads will be used for two specific reasons. 1. Students will access apps. including Lexia and Happy Numbers using these iPads. Students are given the ability to use Chromebooks in the classroom, yet many students have never touched a keyboard and do not know how to use Chromebooks. iPads are more user-friendly for lower-income students and special education students at this age level. 2. Students with Occupational Therapy concerns have a difficult time completing stations within the appropriate grade level time frame. If students do not have enough time to complete the station they can take a picture of it using the iPads so that I can assess the completed work using the pictures.
