Have you ever been in a room where your mind is either blank and will not wake up or is going in every direction thinking about everything and anything? As a resource teacher, my students have multiple different needs. Being able to have flexible seating where they are comfortable or able to move as much as they need to will help them learn. Sometimes students need to wobble or move their legs in order for them to concentrate. I want my classroom to be able to encourage those different ways of keeping us engaged and our minds focused. Students will want to move and it is normal for them to move because no one wants to sit in a plastic chair all the time.
