My students have always enjoyed hands on learning and being able to move about the classroom. Research shows that giving children the ability to move while learning improves concentration. With flexible seating, the students will have more options to wiggle and wobble while working and stay on task. Students are given choices in their academic tasks, they can now be given the freedom to choose their seating too! Giving them a choice allows them to have more input in their learning. Keeping students physically active will help them be more engaged throughout the day. In doing so, students will find more academic success in the classroom.
