The persona dolls will enable students to have discussions around friendship, bias/racist comments, and problem solving. This will be especially important during a year when students are missing social interactions, and how to speak to others, and become allies. In a typical year, we focus on inclusion, and celebrating each others differences. Persona dolls will help students learn and practice these skills in a virtual setting. The books will be used as live read alouds that will prompt discussions, help students understand anti-racist vocabulary words, as well as see themselves in diverse books. All of these materials will be used during remote learning. Thank you for your help!
