My students need optional seating to have a variety of seating options throughout the day. My 3rd graders enjoy making the class their own and feeling comfortable in every area of the class. The bean bags and stools will allow them to move freely creating an inviting environment. The chair balls and fidget bands will help increase their productivity by allowing them to stimulate their senses while engaged in various activities as a class or in groups. The books selected for my class are to help enhance my classroom library. The books are culturally relevant in order to represent the interest of my students. In addition, I would like for the classroom library to reflect the diversity of my students in order to show that their culture and heritage is appreciated in the classroom.
