The copy machine will be used to print instructional materials, especially images which are frequently used in instruction to enhance my students' understanding of abstract concepts. Due to the large number of teachers at my school, our copier is either nonoperational or is being used. It will save me time if I have a copier in my room so my time can be used for more important things such as planning for my students. Given a copied passage, students will be able to highlight supporting details in the text to prove a point" When using textbooks, my students are not able to write in them. Having the copier more readily accessible will make it possible to make copies of the text which will enable the students to highlight important details which will significantly help them in developing their reading skills.
