Students will be able to find spots on the floor or pull up stools to work collaboratively on projects. They also have the option of using pillows during silently reading or a pillow for themselves as a reward for good behavior. Students do not need to be tied to their desk, by allowing movement and different seating options, they will be comfortable and ready for the learning activity. The possibilities are endless when the materials are available. I chose stools because they take up very little space but give the height needed to work at a desk if desired. The pillows are ideal for finding a spot on the floor and getting comfortable. They are also nice for silently reading in the library. The students will appreciate the options available to them and it will help them feel comfortable while learning.
