Flexible seating allows students to move around the room and experience learning in a different way. These chairs will allow students to sit comfortably while reading in another space in the room. I find students are reluctant to read and are easily distracted. I think these chairs will encourage students to read in a fun and interesting environment. It is my goal to instill a love of reading in my students for 5th grade and beyond. Students will want to read in these flexible seating areas therefore causing them to read more and develop a positive experience with reading. They will then continue to read more and more.
