Socialization in current times involves mainly cell phones and social media. In my class, I strive to increase student interaction through discussion of current event topics in the school setting and how those topics translate into their everyday lives. Getting this project funded means I can provide my class with a set of scholastic magazines that provides engaging content for them to read, discuss, debate, and present their own opinions on. The goal of this project is to improve my student's abilities in collaboration, public speaking and research skills, as well as expose them to important issues kids of their age are facing all over the world.

About my class
