I will be using my degree in Spanish as a tool to teach the children Spanish to widen their vocabulary in multiple languages. The space theme will also excite the students about science and facts about the world or worlds around them. I plan to show the students there is much more out there but we have to start small, and work our way up to achieve what we want. I will take the flashcards and books to introduce Spanish into the children's vocabulary which in return, will make the Hispanic students in the class feel more welcomed and involved. The space items, for example, will allow me to share more facts and information about the planets and astronauts. The miscellaneous items will introduce the kids to many common day skills such as tying shoes, being creative, recognizing and manipulating a clock, and basic cleaning tools.
