These supplies will be used mostly in my students' homes to help them learn as they begin their first grade year digitally. As they will be doing their learning remotely, I want to make sure that each one of my kids has the tools they need. Since my families are already working hard to support student learning at home, I want to help take some work off of their plate. Many of my students in the past have started their year without basic supplies. I am asking for basic supplies that my students will need to work from home. Pencils, crayons, whiteboards, markers, etc. These will help my students have familiar tools to complete their learning tasks instead of expecting them to work digitally 100%. It allows me to create lessons and assessments that will be accessible and equitable to all of my students regardless of the means of their family. The storage will help my families keep their students' learning materials organized and accessible while they learn from home. Finally, the microphone will help me to create and deliver quality content for my students as I work in different areas of my room.
