As mentioned when describing my students, I noticed their desire to read. This is an internal push that cannot be forced, and not necessarily taught. Now, perhaps more than ever, we want to continue fueling that spark of reading. Not just for expanding literacy development, but to also broaden our students' minds to see different perspectives throughout the world. Through this project, your donations will help my 5th graders escape their world and become immersed in another reality. Students will gain insights, discover new ideas, and may even have a release from their own burdens as they flip through pages. Your contributions allow me, as their teacher, to show them a whole new world that is attained through books. That simple transformation is a gift, and you would be able to make this possible.
