These materials will make a huge difference to our students. A lot of our students have some sensory needs. A light box will really help them with learning their colors and shapes. It may also soothe some of them. They will also be able to improve their fine motor skills with this light box. Students will be able to trace things, and sort objects. Special education students learn better when they see things in color. Our school provides us with a color printer in our classrooms; however, they do not provide us with the ink for the color printer. We'll use the printer ink to make communication boards, and create step by step directions for our littles. I'm finding that a lot of my students struggle with 2 step or more directions. We'll also be able to create more centers to learn with.
