During the course of the semester, the photography students will learn the basics of digital photography. The course encompasses theory, technical issues, applications, practice, and the history of photography. Primarily, the goal is to teach them how to use a camera using manual settings focusing on elements and principles such as focus, composition, and lighting. The students will be given a list of subjects they will photograph and create a portfolio choosing ten photographs of their work. This photo printer will be used to create the students' end of the semester project, the portfolio.
