Serving up a good novel for a "book tasting!" Where is my silver tray? As my students gather around me at our book nook, I look at them with excitement and in return, they look at me with anticipation. What is under that dome? It's our new novel for the class novel study. Interactive literature activities that focus on each novel will allow students to work independently and collaboratively. These high-interest novels that I am requesting will generate discussions that enhance higher-order thinking skills. As my students are guided to make inferences, their performance in writing will improve.
