Arthur Ashe once stated that "One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation." As a middle school counselor, it is important for me to help students to become comfortable with who they are and exude self-confidence in everything that they do. Middle school is a pivotal moment in a child's life. Students venture through puberty while discovering their self-identity. Students can be self-conscious about their appearance and hygiene. Providing my students with personal care essentials provides them with the assurance that they feel great on the outside which helps them to exude confidence in their social interactions with others.
