Resource students will have fun learning and practicing foundational skills in the RSP room! Our students are the most special! They are Resource students who work extra hard to learn and see success. Our students are in regular education classrooms most of their day and visit the Resource room for support in math, reading and writing. Seeing the light bulbs go on when students understand a concept they've been working so hard on is one of the best parts of being a special education teacher! Whether it's finally getting a long division problem correct on their own or making growth with their reading fluency, we celebrate all successes in our classroom. Planning activities that keep them engaged and having fun learning is what we strive to do on a daily basis. Working on foundational skills over and over every day can get a little mundane for our students, so we like to switch it up and do more hands on activities. Sometimes they don't even realize they're learning!
