Technology such as a Promethean Board would help in the classroom in many ways for students and teachers! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase students' education experience, attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Ways it will help: Create Interactive Lessons for Students– Having an interactive whiteboard would allow us to incorporate videos, pictures, diagrams, and other visuals into our lesson plans. Rather than spending time trying to describe certain topics or processes to your students, show them a video and images they can actually see from the back of the classroom (compared to the projectors we currently use) Increasing Comprehension of Lessons – Interactive whiteboards allow you to include media in your lessons, students may be better able to grasp the concepts being taught. This results in you having better reviews of subject content and allows you to go more in-depth, moving your class forward with strong understanding to the next important topic. Organize Learning Games & Activities – One of the most basic benefits of an interactive whiteboard is that they are fun to use! This makes them a great place to host learning games and activities, such as Jeopardy Trivia or a variation of the classic memory game. This type of fun interactivity that still works on building skills is a great way to re-energize a classroom.
