I strive to build a caring, respectable and positive learning atmosphere. One way in which I do this is by by creating student-led choices in the room. I would like to keep this going by organizing my classroom to keep this working. A new table for students to work together and shelves to organize what they have will create a better area in which students can learn and grow. Student choice is important and respected in our room, therefore having an area to help create this will benefit everyone. With new furniture I can create a comfortable, yet structured, area for students to do their best. Since students are provided choice in the classroom, they need an area which is organized and set up for their abilities. This furniture would help with that. This furniture would help create a positive learning experience that the students can self manage if properly set up. Appropriate shelving and seating is important for all this. The bench style table is perfect for small group work, the cubed shelving is great for organizing supplies, and the small book shelves are great to create little work area stations. Everything on this list would be used everyday and used to its fullest potential! .
