Since students have been dealing with Covid, many of my students are struggling with deep relationships, social skills and developing friendships. Compound this with the fact that many of my students are military dependents and frequently move and I am constantly struggling with helping students develop deep connections with their classmates. Reliving memories through pictures is a great way to encourage social connections and long-term relationships within our classroom. It is my hope that by taking and printing pictures, students will have a tangible way to remember students who have moved and grow relationships with current students. Some of the best relationship building sentences often start with "Remember when.......". It is my hope that printing pictures in our classroom with help encourage those conversations. It is also a way for students who are going to be moving to know that they will still be talked about and remembered.
