What do all students love most about the science classroom? What do all teachers love most about the science classroom? The answer is the same: LABS! Scientific investigation is an important part of learning how to analyze and think critically, A.K.A what scientists actually do every day! These materials will give my AP Environmental Science and AP Chemistry students the opportunity to experience a variety of labs and investigations in and out of the classroom. These students have chosen to take a challenging course and intend to go into a career of science. It’s up to us to provide the supplies to grow their minds for their future. These labs are inquiry based, meaning students have to develop components of the lab using their content knowledge gained in the classroom. This gives students an opportunity to take ownership of their choices as a researcher and justify the decisions they make on their research - an opportunity many don’t have until college. Thank you for supporting our classroom to develop the scientists of tomorrow!
