My students begin each school day with a larger mountain to climb than their grade-level peers. Their disabilities make it difficult for them to focus and sit comfortably in a metal school chair. Many choose to stand and we frequently take movement breaks to get those wiggles out. Despite these challenges, my students are different, not less. They are capable of incredible things and come in each day eager to grow as a learner. By donating to this project, my students will gain the accommodations necessary to climb those mountains and bridge the learning gap between them and their grade-level peers!

About my class
