Do you remember how boring math can be when all you have is a worksheet and a pencil? I would like to make math fun and exciting for my students. Students learn math by doing math. Many students have to see it and feel it to understand it. Visual learning is exemplified when students are physically able to move manipulatives to show relationships. My students will be able to work with manipulatives to deepen their understanding of the concepts and relationships taught. I will also be able to use these materials with any remedial students who need to be retaught a concept or just need that extra way of looking at a problem..
