Students learn best when they are DOING the math and I have found that the best way I can monitor all of my students in a low-risk setting is by having them work collaboratively at vertical whiteboard space. The items I have chosen will allow my students to continue this work. I chose the whiteboard paint and contact paper to allow me to transform any available space in my classroom to a whiteboard, which will act as a low-risk space for learning and exploration of content. The markers that I chose are thin and easy for students to write all mathematical symbols in. I chose the tall bar table and stools to allow me to create a flexible seating space for my students as we learn. Additionally, the laminating sheets will allow me to turn any worksheet or activity into a dry erase kit! I love using these for customized graphic organizers to break down mathematical procedures for scaffolded practice. Thank you for your consideration and support!!
