Our kids want and need to feel connected to the world. Printmaking is an ancient and global art form that still fascinates and thrills artists today. Learning block printing by hand and with a press gives our kids an opportunity to experience the same processes that countless others before them have used. Our art students are excited to reestablish their connections with each other. We will use printmaking as a collaborative vehicle for students to express some of the emotions they have kept inside for so long.
