Tablets are used to engage students in hands-on learning and help facilitate our classroom economy where students learn about real life financial fluency. During reading and math rotations, my students practice learned skills on tablets. Many of our school projects are STEM related and students love the opportunity to code, or create one of a kind presentations. Students enjoy working hard and taking charge of their education; tablets place more responsibility in the hands of my 5th graders. I also find tablets to be a valuable resource for students who may not have access to technology at home. Because our tablets are heavily used during the week, these covers will help protect this valuable resource and prolong student use for years to come.
