I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in a low-income neighborhood school that has been considered a "failing" school for a number of years. Many of the students that come to me have already written math off as "too hard," or "boring." Each and every day, I try to make math interesting, fun, and applicable to real life. Through this process, many of my students have come to enjoy math and strive to do their best in my class.

About my class
