My students will enjoy daily morning meetings at our new carpet. We will be respectful, social friends who can learn and share with and from one another. Having an area where we can all come together will help shape our classroom climate and develop positive relationships. Students will have opportunities to use the rug in partners, groups, and as a whole class to develop skills in all subject areas. I can envision students reading to one another, completing math tasks at the rug, and enjoying a GoNoodle brain break on occasion. This rug will really make our room the place to be! (please note: The picture in the heading is not of my own room as it is still in the process of being readied, I will upload one as soon as I can take a picture! Thank you for your understanding)
