Currently, our small group instruction table needs seating. Small group instruction is crucial for providing more specialized instruction tailored to each student. I utilize small group instruction everyday with math, reading, or writing. All of my students will be using these stools because every student can benefit from more direct instruction. Another seating option I would like to have for my students are chair bands and cushions. These seating arrangements are useful in supporting students with ADHD or ASD. The bands and cushions provide a sensory input that allows students to move around, release energy, and maintain focus while staying in their seat. The cushions also help strengthen core muscles. With your generosity, my students will have seating for small-group instruction and I will be able to offer more support to my students with ADHD or ASD. I want to provide the best support possible to all of my students and I hope to give them comfortable seating that they will use each day. Thank you for considering our classroom project!
