I have been teaching for the past 15 years. I have recently moved to a new school. When I came into my new room, I noticed a major missing piece that is vital for my science curriculum. My new school does not have any compound light microscopes. Now technology has come great lengths but for a student to be engaged and really buy in to the science learning, it is always best to do these investigations first hand, when possible. I am asking for ten compound microscopes with slide sets. My project is to give my students every opportunity to learn more about the world around them that is not able to be seen with the naked eye.
