My students are craving snacks during each school day and I want to reward them for working hard in math. I've previously had a DonorsChoose project funded for healthy snacks and it made a world of difference in my classroom. I have a healthy snack incentive in my class when students work hard. It's a challenge logistically and on my budget for me to keep buying the snacks for the students. This is an important school year for my students as they have an opportunity to take the SAT test, while beginning to think about applying to colleges. I want to complete this project so that the students will have more snack options for working hard and challenging themselves in the classroom.
