Reading in middle school is very unattractive to kids these days. Matter of fact, I even lost my love for reading in middle school. Why? Because we were only allowed to read the books our teachers picked out for us. Reading should be exciting and should come without limitations. I want my students to get excited about reading by offering various genres and complete freedom when it comes to reading for fun. My goal with this project is to expand my classroom library to encourage students to grow a love for reading and to adhere to all types of readers.
