The materials I have requested will help the students with tonal memory and hand sight coordination. When I use the instrument we sit in a circle and I instruct them how to hold and care for the instrument. The students are able to touch and play on them for about a minute and then it’s h them the high bar and the low pitch bar. As I play a note or two they mimic this. After they are comfortable we play these notes along with a song I play. There they have just become musicians!! Our district will have children in the classrooms as well as home. When students rotate out of my class I will have enough to be able to sanitize the instruments as well as instruments ready for the next group.
