In part one of my project, students will be using the computer mice and headphones to help them more easily use their laptops as they participate in the lessons that use technology. They will use specific websites to learn about and explore possible career options. They will also be working on digital literacy skills including online safety and being careful about their digital footprints. In part two of my project, students will get hands-on experiences with food preparation including planning, shopping, cooking, and clean-up as well as having the chance to learn about food safety and practice etiquette and manners. The class will work as a group to learn how to safely prepare simple meals and snacks in order to experience independence with food preparation.
