I want to provide a means for my students to weekly be able to free write on paper. Junior year of high-school is said to be that most important year, where students are choosing colleges and deciding on what field of the workforce they plan to enter. This project is to allow them to take what we have learned that week in class and write about it relating to what is going on in their life. It will also help to open their mind and realize real-world application of English III and writing. This will allow them to develop writing skills that are essential in the real world and college. Students today have a lot of experience with technology, these writing journals will allow them to take a step back and get the feel for communicating with a pen and paper.
