For many of my students this will be their first classroom environment and their first opportunity to take advantage of high quality manipulatives to develop fine motor skills. Fine Motor development is the foundation for so many different aspects of education that include STEM, pencil grip strength, creativity through painting and the utilization of scarves for body awareness skills. Snap dinosaurs will not only develop awareness of the different parts of an animals body, but develop fine motor strength through learning how to snap items together. The pipe builders develop both their imagination and problem solving skills while they have fun learning.
