My students do not have board games at home that they play. Nor do they play games with their family members. This project will assist them in using and playing with different board games. My students have not had many experiences with using diverse intellectual strategies, so playing games is one way that they can. They are excited to understand how strategies differ and determine which strategy is best to win. This will enable them to realize that strategies are everywhere, not just the classroom. My students will engage in board games and understand rules, types of play, and become more intellectual in the process. They will engage in different board games that use unique strategies to win. They will learn that one strategy does not fit every game.
