The practice room is used by students in every choir class to provide a space to rehearse music either alone, or in a small group. Having a digital keyboard in the practice room allows for a better large-group rehearsal by giving individuals or sections (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) to practice songs or sections of music until the basics of pitch and rhythm are solid. Therefore, creating more collaborative rehearsal time in which individuals and sections can focus on the finer aspects of choral singing, such as blend, intonation, tone - dynamics, articulation, and artistic expression. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve individual singers within the choir, but also the group as a whole. This will ultimately help improve my students' experiences in the classroom and lead to increased success in the concert and competition stage.
