Discovering natural laws through our questions, needs, and problems is an integral part of learning science. The items I requested for this science project will allow my students to conduct a safe experiment to understand that the synthetic products, such as the gummy worm they will create using sodium alginate and calcium chloride, come from natural resources. Through this project, they will learn how everything they use depends on natural resources. They will also learn about the renewable and nonrenewable resources we use to create our synthetic materials and how these materials impact our environment.

About my class
