Last year there weren't enough chairs in our school for every student. Although we eventually were able to acquire enough, many of our chairs are old and falling apart. They are mismatched, heavy and literally falling apart while being sat on. This year I would love to provide my students with sturdy metal stools that they can depend on to hold their weight, where they can sit a little taller to create their works of art. I want to show them that if you work hard and ask for help you will receive. Help me help my students and my inner city school that has had to deal with yet another budget cut this year. Be a part of showing my students that they are important and worthy of creating in a space where they don't have to worry about the seat breaking beneath them.
