All my students are at the point that they are discovering that print has meaning. When they look at books, they see pictures and notice that words are written on the page to describe the picture. My goal is to encourage my students to write in their journal by providing an opportunity to draw/show an image as a reflection of their words. Many students enjoy drawing and the journal will encourage and build confidence in their writing ability. Each student will be able to see the progress they made with their writing from the start to the end. I hope you will be able to help me provide students with this resource. Thank you.
