As a school counselor we often get forgotten because we don’t teach reading, writing or math. However, the social and emotional well being of my students is extremely important. If students feel good about themselves they will learn better. These products will allow my students to calm down in my classroom and get their mind out of their troubles. My students come from low income families with many financial and emotional issues. The TIME For Kids, markers, coloring books, and emotion stones will allow them to ease their frustrations and focus their energy on other calming skills. I can already picture my students coloring the pages and talking to me calmly about what is bothering them.

About my class
