Help underprivileged students have the opportunity to compete in our county Battle of the Books program. Students will read the books that are purchased and discuss with their teammates. They will also write questions about the book to help practice for the battle. The books that are purchased will be used to compete in the Battle of the Books competition. The competition consist of students answering questions about books in a game show type setting. It is such a wonderful learning adventure for these students! If students have their own copies of the books, they can read and reread at their convenience instead of always waiting on a copy from the library to be turned back in. They can also annotate if needed.
