When it comes to learning letters and numbers and developing letter sound recognition, Chromebooks are the ideal tools for my scholars to use. They have both visual and auditory features that can assist them in making important connections. Best of all, there are a number of games and apps that will make the learning process more exciting such as i-Ready, reading A-Z, Epic! to name a few. The ultimate goal of using these Chromebooks is to be able to differentiate instruction according to my scholars needs while making it fun. It is important to note that these are resources that many impoverished children do not have access to at home. In an increasingly technological world, having basic technological literacy at an early age has become essential and can easily be introduced in my classroom. With your help and the use of these Chromebooks we’ll teach our Kindergarten scholars how to embrace technology and make a difference in a child’s life one “CLICK” at a time! ♥️
