My project will help build a calm down space for students who "need to take a break" and regain control over their emotions. The books, fidgets and other items will contribute to making the calm down space comfortable as well as safe for students who need to regulate their emotions. This space will also be a learning environment for students who are still trying to determine what helps them calm down and cope with their frustrations and emotions. Students cannot focus on learning if they are not regulated and in control of their emotions. Help create a space for students to gain control of their emotions and learn how to cope so they can be ready for the learning environment.

About my class
