This is my first year teaching second grade. The classroom I am in had nothing but 20 desks and 5 computers. Not a single book for my students to read. I have been blessed with 18 students that love to read and story time. My project this year is to provide them with as many book for them to grow their love of reading. I enjoy reading to them, but I am limited with what I can read to them. So far this year we have story time since we do not have books for individual reading. They are hungry to learn and read individual book. They look forward to improving their AR reading scores. I am excited for them too.
