These materials will foster a sense of well being and comfort for my Emotionally Disturbed students. With warm lighting, alternative seating, and a relaxed atmosphere, my students will be able to achieve great things. Our room is used for respite as well as teaching, these items will create an environment that will accommodate the students that are either ready to learn or are in emotional distress. Sometimes all these children need is a place to go that is set up for them to reach their maximum learning potential. Traditional classrooms can be intimidating or distracting and we are setting up a room to facilitate students that learn outside of the norm.
