Right now, a standard microscope will help my students gain lab experience before they return to their school. We are currently acquiring equipment to get started. This will help them begin. We will use it to view basic science slides. More than anything, they just need to get familiar with a piece of equipment. We’ve reviewed all the technical specs, but we haven’t been able to use the actual equipment yet. After the microscope, I want to try to build some sort of portable lab cart so that my students can have other experiences that mimic the normal science lab.
