There are so many ways to create a sense of musicianship in each individual child. One way is having space where we can have our own jam sessions with percussion instruments and practice the technique of improvising. This can be incorporated with expanding our confidence as musicians, improving gross and fine motor skills, working on social development, and enjoying the magic that music brings. We can also use such activities to focus on shape and color identification, sequencing and patterns, and being more focus on the space around us. These drums, kongas, mallets, and xylobells, etc. will allow each child to have an instrument when doing a class activity. Thank you in advance.
