Letters Alive Plus is a supplemental reading kit that incorporates evidence-based best practices to teach literacy. I will have the flexibility to teach in a whole group setting, centers, or with individual students. The activities are also tied into sciences. The students can use a multisensory approach to learning while staying engaged. The letters and words spring to life through the 3D technology known as augmented reality. Letters alive Plus builds students' phonemic awareness and phonic skills. The lessons focus on sight word cards that help with strengthening comprehension and reinforce print concepts through building sentences. Several of my students are unable to form complete sentences or make their needs known. This program will allow them to use letters to form words and words to form sentences to be able to communicate while learning and retaining the literacy skills needed to read.
